Milad Masjedi
Global Medical Devices Technical Manager, SGS – SGS Belgium NV
Milad has a PhD in bioengineering, and after over 4 years of research in clinical settings, he embarked on a career in the Notified Body sector. Over the past 10 years, he has held various roles within different Notified Bodies, including Technical Reviewer, Clinical Manager, and Final Reviewer and Certificate Decision Maker.
Currently, Milad serves as the Global Medical Device Technical Manager at SGS Belgium. In this position, he oversees all activities related to the Medical Device Directive (MDD) and the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) audit and technical documentation assessment. He is responsible for managing all product assessors within SGS worldwide and provides technical guidance to global auditors.
Before joining SGS, Milad worked with a few other Notified Bodies in the UK, where he conducted technical reviews for orthopaedic and dental products across various classifications and as a Final Reviewer and Certification Decision Maker for diverse categories of medical devices.
